This track started as a recording by Dan Gensel of Nick Mora improvising a drum riff. After recording nick he recorded his own instruments over it and made it into the funky sounding song it is today. The songs lyrics however were written at various different points. Because the lyrics originally were three other songs Dan and Zack wrote together a long time ago. One major part of the song is written about the two going on adventures as young teenagers by sneaking out The Red Den Window which was zacks bedroom window. And many other adventures the two went on with other friends. The song over all is about friendship, loyalty and having someone to stand on that will help you and find you when you get lost in the dark. Which is where we got the title for the Ep. The people that will fall with you, rise with you, and be there for you no matter what. As well as many other subjects about feeling lost or like a failure its about persevering and pushing past the hardest points in time. Daniel wrote some brand new parts to this song also when he made it during the same time that Zack was going through mental illness.
